Sparks are now on the Hydro Connect website for the Friday. I can't believe it - that is just up the road for me. Woooooooo hooooooooo. I won't even need to camp if I can get a parking ticket. Keen to see Goldfrapp & Franz Ferdinand too. |

I had to buy a weekend ticket as it doesn't seem you can go for just one day. Hope R&R bring their insect repellant as the midges here have clogs on. Mozzy Off seems to work well. |

I keep telling people...washing with coal-tar soap is the best(well carbolic soap was but you can't get that now)for keeping midgies off of you. |

I have found cheap flights with BabyBMI but can get connecting flights, on takes off before the other one lands at East Midlands Airport
how long would train from EMA to the festival take? Plane lands about 10 am so that should be possible right? _________________ "Somebody's been putting pineapple juice in my pineapple juice!"

Well by car would take about 6 hours, so by train would be much quicker than that, I'm sure you'll get there in plently of time . _________________ "I hope it's just your laugh that is infectious."

Well im getting a direct train from sheffield and that takes 5 hours.
They're headlining the smaller stage so i wouldn't have thought that they would be on until the evening/night. _________________ -Up Here In Heaven Without You.- |

Oh bugger me!!!! Just read that Sparks will be on stage at 11 at night, that's when my last bus leaves , well, looks like I'm gonna have to sleep in a tree and hitchhike home in the morning, lol (unless Ron and Russell kindly give me a ride home in their tour bus... hey, a girl can dream). _________________ "I hope it's just your laugh that is infectious."

Lol. Thanks, at least I've still got a few more weeks to figure something out, nothing's gonna stop me from seeing that gig. _________________ "I hope it's just your laugh that is infectious."

Actually saw a poster for Connect today! HMV are doing some kind of competition to win tickets, good to see it's getting some publicity, hadn't even heard of it until i found out Sparks were playing!
I hope everyone who wants to finds a way to get there, will certainly be a fun weekend!
They have a spa and everything _________________ -Up Here In Heaven Without You.- |

Hope they come on earlier too, or I'll have to look for a hotel or something to spend the night in Inverary, which I really don't want to do . _________________ "I hope it's just your laugh that is infectious."
