Hello from Warszawa, Polska (Warsaw,Poland). I am new fan. My name is Franciszek Pjetraszkiewicz. Sparks is not very well known in Poland.
I like best No. 1 In Heaven. This album results in other electronic groups like Pet Shop Boys and I think Erasure. Georgio Moroder production is very good.
Excuse my English, what is bully boy ? |

Has everyone voted yet ?
Rhetorical question!!!
P.S. Franciszek, a bully boy is a brutal thug who beats up un-co-operative Sparks fans who can't be bothered to vote in important polls. |

Martin, I have tried to vote, but nothing is happening! (I don't do technology!) Please forgive me!!!
My vote goes to the wonderful GSSV, with nul points awarded to Interior Design.... _________________ You see a peanut, and the day's off to a good start. You witness some soil, and it's a jamboree..... |

I do not understand why you cannot vote. If you are registered (which you obviously are) then the system should allow you to simply 'click' against your favourite album.
Maybe this is why so few people have voted - maybe the system won't allow them to.
Or maybe, frankly Scarlet, they just don't give a damn! |

Martin, I have tried to vote, but when I click next to my choice nothing happens. This hasn't been a problem before - maybe your poll has been sabotaged!!!! 8O _________________ You see a peanut, and the day's off to a good start. You witness some soil, and it's a jamboree..... |

I would like to vote for "The Heaven Collection" (for obvious reasons). Why is it not listed? _________________ The Ghost of Liberace still has that mystique. |

Girl From Glastonbury wrote: | The legendary Stevie Wonder????? If you really have no clue as to Stevie Wonder's songwriting ability then, alas, there is no hope for you. "Fingertips" originated around 1960 as a groove for a 10-year-old Stevie to jam on his harmonica and rave up the crowd... nothing more. I have no idea why R&R chose to cover it.
As for my favorite Sparks album... I voted for Lil' Beethoven for it's innovative, genre-shattering concept. Otherwise I would have gone for Kimono or Indiscreet.
One question for GFG: Why do you choose what appears to be a (shudder) professional wrestler for your avatar?
[edit] OK... I see it is actually a character from the Star Wars movies. In that case, you are absolved of the imagined sin.

I chose the avatar because it was the nearest lookalike in the selection, although I do have slightly more facial hair..... _________________ You see a peanut, and the day's off to a good start. You witness some soil, and it's a jamboree..... |

Excellent answer! I chose mine because I often feel that I share intellectual capacity and social skills with Mr. Simpson.

Today I voted for No.1 In Heaven. If I'd voted tomorrow I might have voted for Gratuitous Sax, or maybe Kimono My House, perhaps Whomp That Sucker. Actually Introducing Sparks was my favourite at one time. Tricky poll this one. Does anyone know the right answer? |

You know, i'm sure some people just have a resistless wish to say something in contrary, so they say things of this kind... In contrary just in principal. And also sparksfans are seldom objetive...
Besides , Gregby , I just adore your new signature... rather sincere..lol... _________________ (bows) |

I think we fans can be objective. Most of us appreciate that most of the albums ARE works of god-like genius, however, at least two are absolute pants.... _________________ You see a peanut, and the day's off to a good start. You witness some soil, and it's a jamboree..... |

GFG
You've made it clear you don't like Interior Design. Out of interest what's the other one of the two albums you think are pants?

It's certainly not one of their best, but I've never understood why Terminal Jive is so maligned. Well, I sort of understand, but I think the extent of the criticism is unfair. |
