I think 21 DVDS are just gonna be to expensive and may only sell a 100 -200 sets. Might not break even for R&R to do. But maybe a 4-5 DVD set with all the most exciting bits would be fab. _________________ "Somebody's been putting pineapple juice in my pineapple juice!"

ahhh i see where your coming from!!!!!!!!, could it be done another way then, like a made to measure form!!!!!!!!!, if they could release all item through lil b records, because (i hope) everything will/has been recorded via mixer or cam, that instead of knocking out mass production, of everything which would be expensive, but say through the sparks mart, you could then order your required formats, and thenthey could be made to order, im sure if they would fly out at sparks concerts!!..... |

My guess would be that this would only be possible in Digital downloads cos than everybody decides for themselfs what they want to buy. Some 256 videos to download? Previews on youtube?? i-Video on demand??? _________________ "Somebody's been putting pineapple juice in my pineapple juice!"

I think at the very least we'd get a best of CD, maybe a track from each show, to keep up the 21 x 21 concept.
Plus a fan deluxe edition with those 21 joined by the 21 (or 22 or however many there are in the end) encore tracks. |

I Still think a release of the ECOTD show(plus encore set and extras)..then over the course of a year monthly releases,in chronological order,of two concerts on one dvd..That way all dvds could be affordable as the price would be spread out as per purchases and not in one fell swoop.
There is always the marketing opportunity for a special display box/dvd holder for 21x21 to be made available through the fan club or Sparks Mart too.
(Maybe I've been watching too many of those "build a battleship in 500 issues for only slightly less than the cost of a real one" adverts ) |

I am desperate for these to become officially available on DVD or at least audio -at least a half dozen I'll play more than the corresponding studio album, and the memories, oh, the memories. I'm not wealthy, but don't mind paying a higher than average price for a limited edition or whatever.
Take my money Sparks! You deserve it!

Mind you remembering how long the "DEE VEE DEE " took to be released x that by 21 .. Plus I guess R&R will want to fine tooth the Audio .. Could be a Longish wait I guess...
Id be happy with Complete CD Release only. and maybe a Highlights DVD.. |

I've posted a plenty that I would like a full, unadulterated version of each concert with every breathe, note, etc, etc.
Russell made a point in one of the recent interviews that they were being faithful to the albums with these concerts as they didn't want to 'change' anything as it could be someone's favorite. Likewise if considering a 'Best of' release, who would be the brave soul(s) deciding which are the best bits? 'Cos someone's 'best bit' may then not be included.
I know I am biased but I can't remember any 'worst' bits! _________________ I'm Not .... Getting dressed today! |

Yeah, I mean I want Interior Design live recording most. I love the record, and it wasn't changed, just beefed up a bit and with a new vocal intensity. But I can't imagine that's commercially viable, except via some kind of official download I suppose. I really want to pay Sparks some money for such things! _________________ Even

I guess choosing the best bits would be difficult but done by R&R and i guess they would choose what they felt to be the best bits? There are more and less populair shows as only just a few sold out! Besides that not all the songs performed got the same reaction from the crowd after so i guess that also means something. True, someone best bit might not be that of the rest and vice versa but than you can't please everybody all of the time....etc..
But instead of DVD's can we also ask for another couple of shows on mainland Europe? Rather go to a live show than see it again on DVD. _________________ "Somebody's been putting pineapple juice in my pineapple juice!"

I agree E-C-E !!
Come to Germany Sparks
to the topic: why not selling them as downloads(audio or video)
i mean they wouldnt need to afford so much money for it but would probably earn good money if they took 5€ or so each gig..
but this has to be released somehow entirely _________________ |
