Same in New Jersey. Extreme heat alert. Intense thunderstorms at times. Very humid, of course. _________________ "Language, however, is not language" |

I'm glad I'm not working today, we expect 40°C in a few hours...
Cologne should be a little bit cooler tonight, which is good for our lads! |

Went to gym for an HIIT class and had a sauna after ( perverse in this heat I know 😂) the benefits of the refreshing cool shower afterwards vanished as soon as I stepped out into the midday sun. Car was an oven despite parking in the shade!
The few clouds in the sky formed an incomplete sundog rainbow. This usually means rain will follow in a few hours but I think it is more wishful thinking today |

It did actually rain, just a couple of heavy showers but very welcome ones nonetheless! A cooler day in store!
Won’t get all sweaty before (or after) my Tai Chi class👍 |

Yesterday we had “rainforest levels” of rain. Maybe now we are out of the drought we’ve been in since last summer. More rain this morning and high will be cooler, in the 80sF, but it will be extremely humid. _________________ "Language, however, is not language" |

Thank goodness the temperature dropped here to "only" 24°C.
It's still very hot at home, but we expect some rain and wind later this evening... hope it'll bring a bit of freshness! |

Terrific thunder and lightning storms and the rain has been torrential for the past 10 minutes and is showing no signs of abating |

We also had heavy rain today, temperature dropped just a little bit but it's still hot. And now it's also humid, well done Mother Nature! |

Temperature's still rising here, will probably peak around 35 C. It's been humid enough to make the heat fell worse but not quite enough to actually rain. |
