With its polka tempo, crowd participation and crazy chorus this track fits perfectly into the Mad setlist…

and it's quite early in the set as well. The audience last tour concerts only really got going when MTYCDT came on. No excuses this time |

Reinforcements is the one I'm most happy to see here, but I'm super excited about Goofing Off and Whippings and Apologies too -- both songs seem like they were made to play live. I'm curious to see how PDFUMW comes off in concert, but I think any other two songs from A Steady Drip would be much better choices than the two they're playing. And except for Lord Have Mercy, I would have picked a totally different set of songs from Mad! |

I quite liked it when they used to play their latest album complete in the first half and then assorted stuff later...... That may have only been done 3 times l think, but l always thought it was quite a good solution to what is really an unsolvable quandary! |

To me, PDFUMW sounded great live, although I wouldn’t say it was outstanding. The reaction was rather mild compared to other songs. But I liked it. It’s quite relatable, the world is really f****d up right now…
I was surprised they did not perform A Little Bit Of Light Banter and went for All That. Isn’t Banter the better closer for this tour? _________________ My resume is dull and it's gray |

I do hope they will avoid PDFUMW ... in the future
and though Banter is not my favourite song of the new
album it is much better than All That |

Just an observation that some bands have dedicated closers and have stuck with them for years. Sparks have not but "All That" has been there since 2022.
A question for the historians, what song has had the longest tenure as the closer for Sparks? _________________ Billy, Don't Be A Porter |
