I know I'm getting neurotic but I'm intrigued as to why the tearful woman at the bar is so intent on covering her face......

Love the sound of this though.

It was put up last Week in error for a short time. Not sure if clicking on it let you listen to the whole track or not. Do not rate first two tracks super strong by Sparks standards. Could be they are saving the best stuff on it and this is the first of them

Looks like a trans woman to me... But we'll find out soon ;)

Ron definitely has issues with women crying in public places!

I'll be crying in a public place soon if l don't get my hands on any concert tickets.....and although l really like the 26 seconds available at the minute (it is wonderfully sinister) and will undoubtedly listen tomorrow,l don't want to hear any more until l have that C.D. in my hands.....
Some people love the feeling of anticipation, but it drives me insane...

Not in love with it. That could change. Of the three out so far, JanSport backpack is waaaaaayyy ahead. However, sometimes the way a song is situated on an album can affect the way I feel about it.

@waterloosunset
interesting how differen ideas and impressions about
the songs are ...
for me the instrumentation of Jan Sport seems a bit flat...
I do like the straight forward energy of DTMOW...
but the new song might be something very special ...

As I wrote on the other thread I think it is. It’s got real breakthrough potential.

Sounds a bit more classic though. I still love it, but Jansport Backpack sounded far more surprising.

Probably my favourite single they've released in a while. I like the melancholy

From my point of view, this imagery aligns with the song's themes of sorrow and concealment, possibly symbolizing the woman's desire to hide her vulnerability or pain. The directors might have used this visual metaphor to emphasize the depth of her emotional turmoil and the human tendency to mask one's true feelings. Chill Guy Game
