I'm assuming it's the same for everybody.....l got through this evening and it's gone to my head....lm posting willy nilly!
Seriously though it is weird and l think it's been lurking for some time because l encountered it quite a while ago and assumed it was just me that was affected but now it's becoming a real problem.

The post is definitely there….its about 60 posts down pst all the Announcements and Stickies

I do find it annoying that Announcements, Stickies & Polls all seem to stay on the Forum's pages forever but any topic put up for discussion is taken down after 6 months if nobody has looked at it.
People put a lot of effort into topics either setting them up or by joining in the conversation. The vote for the fans favourite Sparks songs, being just one for example. I think that was much more valid to stay listed. It's obviously automatically done but some human intervention wouldbe quite nice sometimes.

I know I'll regret this as soon as l post it but,for me at least the problem with the forum seems to have gone....whoever sorted it, thanks! And if it hasn't been sorted l will hang my head in shame.......

@Kermit, I didn’t know that they take down old discussions. Did they take down the album by album discussion? People spent a lot of time and effort on that.

Yikes..... I suspect the 'critical error ' thing is attempting a comeback... I've had it twice today... 😱

Looks like it has gone, so yes waterloosunset. The Forum is the only place where fans can join in on topics & games. I choose not to involve myself on social media basically because I've seen how toxic things can develop on there & I've really got better things to do with my time. I enjoy contributing to the Forum itself for one example so when that input disappears it's very disheartening, especially when there are polls going back to 2002 still viewable.
I don't think there's much we can do about it. It's up to the moderators of the website to change the settings I guess.

I just wrote them a not nice private message. I was going to make it a lot not nicer (being from Brooklyn before it was cool and all) but was afraid that it wouldn't go through. is it just a bot?

I think interacting with spam posts might be what causes the debug error thing, I’d say ignore until they are removed!

Looks like they’re gone already…I’ve noticed some of these spambots ( are they still called that?) quote an actual poster’s response but change a word or two into a “link”…I don’t click on them but I wonder what happens if you do, I’m too cowardly to even try🤣

I've been able to get into the Forum ok for the week or so since it went down for a couple of days. I'd noticed the new posts by those spambots, and didn't make the connection between them and the site going down, although I really don't know how these things work!

Then I have a question: is a life without Sparks fans worth living?
