Well done! Got mine for Paris too as soon as it became available.
I was a bit surprised to see that my seat is far from the front row, I expected something closer to the stage... I predict this tour will be even more successful than the previous one!

The seats at the O2 in London too far away from stage. I can't stand down the front because of the bad fall i had last year. So won't be attending any gigs. If it had been a fully seated venue i would have been there.

The London nights are at the Hammersmith 02 which is the old Apollo. I've been to quite a few concerts there & they've always been fully seated. The last gig I saw there was for Soft Cell a couple of years ago & managed to get seats in the first Circle looking down on the stage. The view was really good, the seats very comfortable & the sound is excellent. The staff are really helpful & if they see you're struggling because of any disability will always step in & assist you making sure you won't have to queue & that you get full access to any lifts. I actually found the Circle seats better than in the Stalls view wise. Don't get confused with the 02 dome at Greenwich, Hammersmith is much smaller even though it's still a big venue. I hope that helps.
I had to miss out on the Albert Hall gigs a couple of years ago as l was just in too much pain waiting on a hip operation so I understand your predicament. I eventually had that operation a year ago & recovered from that now. The chances of Sparks doing much more touring gets less each year but they've done us well over the years. None of us are getting any younger after all.

Got tickets for Manchester easily enough at 8am. Getting the ones for Milan took ages, mainly because I don't speak Italian and there wasn't an English translation option. Kept having to cut and paste into google translate to navigate through

Kermit thanks for the info, check the plan at venue, standing down the front, seats at the back. I have sat in circle seat at this venue before found the stage too far away, my eye sight not so good. Thanks for your advice.

Yeah, I just checked the seating plan again for these nights & you're right. It's the first time I've seen a standing option at this venue though. A seat in the sections by the side of the standing area might be an alternative for you.
Maybe you should have gone to Specsavers for some help with your eyes! Lol...(That's only a joke of course & not to be taken seriously).

I'm so sorry to hear that... you've been through so much last year you deserved it so much!
Have you considered Manchester or Glasgow? Could it be an option ?

The cost would be too much, plus i don't like travel on public transport. When i do travel to London for gigs it's always by taxi which can be expensive.

If you don't like travelling by public transport & find taxis too expensive then standing or seating options at the venue are really of no matter anyway. Raising those initial concerns were pointless then really.

Got my ticket for the Manchester Saturday night concert.Everything went smoothly till i found out you cant print the tickets from the email confirmation that was sent out you can only get the ticket scanned with a smartphone app (i dont have a smartphone!)..Bring back the old days when you rang up for the tickets and they came through your door a few days later in a nice physical memory...Anyway now awaiting a reply from ticketmaster as to what i should do..So have a ticket but it's somewhere in the universe hovering.

I'm booked up, and looking forward to the tour. I miss the old physical tickets too, Peter - having them on a smartphone doesn't feel 'real' enough for me!

Some people like to save their old tickets as mementos, I don’t but I found a few of my old tickets just recently.
I should give them to a collector really!

Got tickets for London, Manchester and Milan.

My dad brought me to my first ever Sparks gig and Sparks' first ever Irish gig in 2006 at Electric Picnic when I was 16. (at an over 21s festival!)

I was obsessed with Sparks around then. I re-introduced my dad to Sparks. He had loved the 70s stuff, loved Singing in the Shower (very random!) but they always kept disappearing on him and he forgot about them.

He brought me to the first 3 nights of Sparks 21 gig run, just before my pre-College exams/(Irish GCSES).

This time, as a way to return the favour, I'm bringing him to the Milan show.

In 2006, I thought that was going to be only time I'd ever see them. Now here we are, 7 Sparks albums, 2 films later and me, 17 gigs later. It's a great feeling.

Hi Physicality ... what a truly great story! I was there for some 13 or 14 of the 21x21 shows ... an amazing experience!

I remember chatting with someone from Ireland at one or two of these shows who was of the similar age ... possibly you, possibly not.

Anyway: great to be able to take your dad to the Milan show!

great story, well done on the tickets..the mystique about sparks before social media was one of the things i loved, your dad was not alone in losing them as they did vanish a few times but you always kinda knew they were there.the comebacks have been emotional many times..after 20 years supporting them i finally got to see them at manchester academy in 1994,i thought just like you i better go see them as i might not get another chance ha ha,here we are 31 years on from that concert and 51 years from 1974...what a group MiniPop
