I went to the Leeds concert & thoroughly enjoyed it. Mum went twice

some jammy devil (I think it was Alex Worton but not sure) caught Ron's lovely pink tie as he threw it into the audience, & mum said Russell threw the castanets into the audience in London

Bless Russell's sweet heart it was funny when he forgot some of the words to Hippotamus (Theres a hippotamus in my pool)

That's a rare moment indeed when Russell forgets his lines!

Happened again in Bournemouth, Hippo followed by a lady with an abacus followed by summing up and yes yes so grand. it was a short Hippopotamus indeed.

That sounds like a deliberate edit, though, re: Bournemouth, Billy (perhaps the constrained set list?)

I don't think it was, looking at the bands reaction although they did cover it well. Why would they do a version of the title track that summed up everyone without mentioning them. To anyone who hadn't heard it before it made no sense. I will post on fb in the next couple of days the crowd reaction at the end of the set, absolutely amazing for a support act (special guest )

Unless I'm remembering wrong, added an extra verse to Hippo in Leeds (after the first chorus), something about a woman in a car. So I tdon't think it was a case of him forgetting the lyrics.

And I have to agree! What a great night! Ron Playing were on FIRE! in particular, jumping round on stage like he was 29 rather than 69!

Two rememberable things from last nights Show in munich:(apart from being a great concert from start to finish)

As the producer of angst in my pants was in the audience they played half of the Song in his honor they will not Play the song again in this Tour.

Also, apparently the Show was professionally recorded as there were several microphones in each Side of The stage.

A few weeks ago I had a plan - train from Nurnberg about 18h - concert - and then return about 24h
Business plans did not allow that - hey ho

Another tour highlight indeed! I do hope recording will enable a live album with band. I liked "Two Hands One Mouth" but reckon a live one, including some of the hot new stuff, performed by the robust band would please fans.

just returned from Cologne ...

awesome:

-choice of songs (ok they could have added Check Out Time)
-performance (many of the songs I have never heard performed live
that great before spec. Change)
-band
-Ron and Russ of course in top format

Looking forward to see them in Mojo Club Hamburg
( will be there from Sunday til wednesday)

The "mistakes" at the start of Hippopotamus are obviously an in-joke with the band. They were all laughing and Russell was obviously improvising which thing he would sing next.

Mojo Club is great venue
nice "intimate" atmosphere, great acoustics

The band proofed its top format again, the brothers seem to
be in a very good mood...

plus a great audience

(Hallo Jan, es war schön Dich kennenzulernen!)

After watching YouTube-clips from the concert in Stockholm I have to say Unaware has turned into quite an anthem with the full band treatment.
