the place that meant joy and fun with the FFS concert
this summer including a great concert on ARTE TV
has become a place of terror and death when about
100 people were killed there last night ...

I just feel sad ...

Sounds like the Band managed to escape out the back door as it all kicked off. But a large amount of fans were not so Fortunate . Its a sad crazy world we are living in at the moment.

I have found this short statement somewhere in the web
and would like to point that out!

unfocused anger - they win
collective blame - they win
reflex revenge - they win

calm, considered, purposeful response - we win!

It's important to note, Paris wasn't the only city to suffer a horrendous terrorist attack at the hands of ISIL last week.

This thread is about The Bataclan in Paris, because it is relevant to Sparks as FFS played there on the 26th of June this year. No one on here is ignoring Beirut as far as I can see.

I apologize for my overreaction. At that point I was irked after having seen so much about the Paris attacks and almost nothing about the attack that occurred the day before in Lebanon (or a few weeks earlier in Turkey). I overlooked the FFS connection to the nightclub and made an imprudent post.

That said, let's hope this is the last time such an awful connection can be made.
