Excellent show again last night in Brum, both R&R on fine form, I thought Russell had one or two bags under the eyes but I guess that's touring for you, but voice incredible and movement inexhaustable.
Might be my imagination but I thought the sound wasn't as good as Bush Hall in June? _________________ www.britbitsandclips.com

I had never been to the Birmingham Institute before but the venue seemed quite nice. The upstairs gallery/balcony was closed off but downstairs was pretty packed. R&R both on fine form. Russell wore the knee length trousers and looked like part of the tweed country set. From memory the set list seemed to be the same as as Bush Hall. Am I right in thinking that Ron's "overture" started and ended with a few bars from "I married myself" but the song did not appear in the main set, whereas other snippets did? _________________ Gonna hang myself from my family tree. |

Another really good gig, and it was great to hear Singing In The Shower especially. _________________ "but we can hear what others can't hear..." |
