YES!!!..A Bobblehead vote...and it wasn't mine(I pressed something else in the heat of the moment.....lol)...I've been hoping that a Sparks' bobblehead collection would become a reality now for ..oh about 5 years....at last the time has come....one vote today...tomorrow THE WORLD!!!! |

I voted for a pen as it`s something I would use...
doesn`t need to be a stripping pen, any old pen will do.
Well, not any old pen actually, not so the design rubs off, and not so you can`t order the exotic refills from Bazookistan or somewhere equally bizarre....
oh, and not £12.50 either. |

LOL...I just spent the past 2 months throwing everything that wasn`t "necessary" away....I was left with 2 candles (but I could theoretically use those ;-)
....or a mug. |

Well exactly ! :-)
But I was watching the TV this morning, and someone was going on about some scare stories about this potentially horrendous cold snap we may have here this winter, and that might indirectly lead to fuel & gas shortages and god knows what else.....it`s probably our turn to have some crazy weather here for a change. |

that`s an applause-o-meter, or should that be groan-o-meter ! :-)
And here`s me thinking they may have finished the double glazing before the winter set in....not much chance of that now. |

Mmh..nothing I have ever printed up has been a plausible reply...but having said that some replies haven't grown either...so I'm not sure where I stand...although I usually stand corrected! One thing is for sure...if the proposed 3 day week comes into force...I will steer well clear of you and any roaming Innuits...there will be a hell of a fight for the last candle!!! ...lol |

I suppose a worst case scenario would be fuel shortages...and god help us, power cuts.....
It`ll be just like the 70`s.. or a war...and people will actually talk to each other and start leaving their back doors unlocked and everything....
Then panic shopping, it only takes a whiff of a Bank Holiday and the shelves are empty before you know it.
I think I`ll start panicking right now.
Can you add thermal underwear items to that list at the top ? :-) |
