Good work on this, BfH! I hadn't realised that there so many versions; expensive if you're a Sparks collector, but I presume fans buying multiple versions helped propel the album to #2 in the UK this week. Transgressive certainly seem to have their collective head screwed on. |

Pity they were not around for the releases of Albums like Lil Beethoven and HYL which badly under performed chart wise.
I rate HYL pretty high up in the Sparks canyon. _________________ I Think that went very Well |

Lil' Beethoven & Hello Young Lovers didn't have Ron & Russell on the cover. The artwork of MAD! is all Ron & Russell.
That's the difference. If you have a funny looking duo, why not put them on the cover ? |

R & R were going to put out Lil Beethoven without Sparks appearing anywhere
Baffling to believe it never made the top 200 in the UK and No 1 in heaven only had one week at 73. |

Ron & Russell were not on the cover of Kimono My House but its by far their best selling LP in the UK going Gold which equates to at least 100'000 sales and probably a lot more than that. |

Nothing to do with that. It's been a long slow build since those albums |
