Do they appear on more than one episode? Or do they just play the song and that's it, as they did in Gilmore Girls?

As far as I know it's just episode 8, but it's far far more expansive than on Gilmore Girls. It's worth finding it, I'm worried about spoiling too much for those wanting to watch for the first time
