Good piece, thank you for sharing. The quotes from Ron and very valuable. As the author notes, one thing Sparks has done great from day one is to lock in a "mood," if not a theme or concept, on almost every album.

To sure sure, that could be a reflection of the many different producers they worked with, each bringing their own vision to the table. But I think it goes beyond that, as the article notes.
