I got a nice email from Sparks management today asking if my CDs arrived OK, they were worried people hadn't received them yet due to the mail strike in London. _________________ http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=678905447 |

One of my copies has a fault, it skips for 25 seconds about 2:30 into "Ladies". Can I get a replacement and to where dol I send my faulty copy? |

Hello there, I was just wondering if anyone else from the U.S. had received their copy/copies yet. I also pre-ordered "Introducing" and am still on the look-out. Thanks! |

No I haven't received mine yet! And getting very frustrated!!!!
Alex - your comments are fairly reasonable (hence my attempt to control the Angst in my Pants at not receiving my CD). But it has come to my attention since being here that ordinarily smart, intelligent people think mailed items will reach me the next day with just a UK first class stamp on - mail strike or not!?!?!?
I live in hope everyday the mail lady comes. But really the kids have started throwing things at me 'cos they want to hear the real songs - not just my warbled efforts. _________________ I'm Not .... Getting dressed today! |

(where I ordered it from).I had looong before that gave it up so be patient!(though I understand you want it soooon). |

My copy arrived yesterday (in the US). It looks and sounds fantastic! Love the Ron/Russell slipcase. Well worth the pre-order delay, that's for sure! |

Got my copy today(from HMV Crawley...the only copy they had???So I have a whinge, see below*..)despite several recent negative comments about this re-release....I can't fault it at all..it is 100 times better than my original "burned " copy.Love the slip-case..yes I'd have loved "extras" but hell's teeth lets save all these extras for a special one-off CD box-set of rarities, demos and out-takes(wishful printing....lol)
It's a smashing release....and official...so lets not knock it!!
(*Virgin in Crawley didn't even have it in stock..nor had they plans to stock it...who do I complain to????) |

I'm not gonna knock something I've not heard, but with the folks who've recieved their copy are you all having skipping issues on "Ladies", or is that just a one-off glitch
Just wonderin'? |

I am fully aware that no one likes a smug BAST**D so I shall pause a moment while you all gather up some heavy or sharp implements....

OK, all ready are you.... right here goes.....
I didn't pre-order from any where. I've had the nail biting waits, I've cussed the record company, the record stores and the postal service too many times in the past thirty odd years.... so nowadays I just bide me time.
Like this time for instance..... they said November 5th, I waited till November 5th. I went into my local record store and a person made of flesh and blood sold me one pristine copy of Introducing. It is indeed in a nice colourful sleeve and I was so glad to have NOT ordered 'both?' versions. I returned to my car, poked it in the cd player (then took it out and put the cd in...... yeah, yeah I know what you lot are like) turned the vol to nigh on max and revelled in such musical mastery as I have never known (well... not since HYL). My pleasure would have been so much greater had I known that some of those among you who pre-ordered from a machine would not recieve theirs for another 24 hours.
Ho Hum, propper money, for propper service from a propper person.... sometimes the old ways are still the best. To be fair.... the propper person could not tell me how many Ps there are in propper but hey, no body's perfect.
Like I said, no one likes a smug bast**d, so go on.... do your worst.... _________________ Half of what I say is utter rubbish and half of what I say is twaddle. The other half just might be serious. |
