Hi All,
Does anyone else ever have difficulty getting into the Forum. This is the message that I got over and over this morning:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1226 User 'allspa' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 300000)

SELECT * FROM phpbb_config

Line : 215
File : common.php

Just now I refreshed the page, and there was the Forum. Any thoughts from some of you people who are WAY more computer literate than I am?

Yep I’ve been having the same problem, sometimes it happens after I’ve posted something and other times it’s the same as you- ie:- getting into the site!

But many thanks waterloosunset for highlighting this, at least now l know it's not just me!

A Sparks fan on the former Twitter sent this to me:

"what I‘m reading from this is, that the site‘s been possibly crawled by bots and to prevent them from spamming the forum, the server has temporarily blocked access for everyone.

At any rate, this is not a problem specific to your user."

Good to know.

Yup, same here.
Not working great these days... Maybe a massive website update who knows... (US tour dates for example)!

I do find it a bit strange that the post waterloosunset sent to Official Announcements is still shown as the last message posted but if you click in to see it, the last message shown is one about The Albert Hall years ago. It seems the bug has even erased messages about itself sent to the Officials!

Waterloosunset’s post is there but it’s because the other posts (marked Announcements ) are pinned…what we used to call “stickies” in older more innocent times😜
If this old technophobe can work it out there’s no hope for you my dear😂😂😂

I tried to write to announcements but the message is nowhere. it just says "waterloosunset". I wanted to know if admin ever planned to use that part of the forum to tell us things. For instance, there is nothing there about the European tour. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but I kinda sorta think that there ought to be a nod to the fans on this site, which has been running for over 20 years, when something is about to happen.

Phew!! I finally made it through the undergrowth to the Sparks forum..... and now that l've made it, l need to ask a very stupid question regarding the Announcements thread....... Why are there so many pinned posts? Do they just stay there forever whether they're relevant or not?

I'm heading back to the outside world now, l may be gone for some time as this critical error thing is still haunting me...... Maybe it's a ploy to make us all MAD before May 23rd......(it's working.. 😡)
