The Rolling Stones-Tattoo You Lp from 1981. People say the Stones output was all washed up around the time Some Girls was released in 1978.They need an earring test cause this whole LP is just simply stunning 11/10. Gonna dig out the Stones Sticky Fingers LP next with that fab Warhol zipper cover art from the very brilliant year of 1971 when for whatever reason loads of great albums were released. |

Yo Quiero Mas Dinero - Grand Popo Football Club... 8-10.
Bit of a Rio 2016 swing to it. Russell and Tammy on vocals.

Browsing the new Divine Comedy album this struck me as
a very FFS type sounding track... _________________ I Think that went very Well |

Just watched and listened to Sharks live at the Borderline on youtube from Oct 2016,the track -"Music Breakout" This band were signed to Island roughly the same time as Sparks. Chris Spedding is and always was a fab guitarist. The lead singer comes from my small hometown on the east coast.Nice live rendition of this track. |

Led Zeppelin ZOSO their 4th Lp. Its a stunning sublime album from that magical year of 1971.Certainly never a dull moment with this baby. Black Dog as opener and it just kills.Rock folk blues and of course Bonham on drums.I would love to believe that one day a band will equal this-not gonna hold my breath though.Even when it winds down with tracks like Going to California its just beautiful.Everbody on the planet and up in outer space should own this majestic Lp.Its definitely one of the better ones from the '71 club. |
